Besan Chakki is a dense, ghee-rich fudge made by roasting gram flour (besan) in pure cow’s ghee until it turns deep golden and fragrant, then binding it with sugar syrup and cardamom. The roasting step is where the flavour lives — under-roasted besan is raw and dull; properly roasted besan turns sweet and nutty. Ours is roasted slow.
We procure premium Indore Channa Dal and mill it in-house. This guarantees pure gram flour with zero adulteration. The fresh milling retains the nutty aroma essential for Mysore Pak and Besan Ladoo, giving them a vibrant golden hue.
A clean, sulphur-free sugar source is vital for syrup-based sweets (like Gulab Jamun). It creates a clear, impurity-free syrup that doesn't crystallize quickly, keeping the sweets soft and spongy.
We strictly use Vijaya Ghee for all our sweets. Its legendary "granular" (Danedar) texture and authentic aroma are non-negotiable for traditional sweets like Mysore Pak and Laddu, ensuring a rich mouthfeel that lingers long after the last bite.
