Classic Sweet Boondi is made from besan (gram flour) batter dropped through a perforated ladle into hot oil, fried to tiny golden spheres, then soaked immediately in sugar syrup flavoured with cardamom and saffron. The boondi absorbs the syrup and turns soft and jewel-like — sweet, fragrant, and bite-sized.
We procure premium Indore Channa Dal and mill it in-house. This guarantees pure gram flour with zero adulteration. The fresh milling retains the nutty aroma essential for Mysore Pak and Besan Ladoo, giving them a vibrant golden hue.
A clean, sulphur-free sugar source is vital for syrup-based sweets (like Gulab Jamun). It creates a clear, impurity-free syrup that doesn't crystallize quickly, keeping the sweets soft and spongy.
Used for deep-frying sweets like Gavvalu before syrup dipping. Gold Drop's neutral flavor ensures the oil doesn't interfere with the taste of the jaggery or cardamom, and its high smoke point prevents the sweets from smelling "oily."
